Understanding the text: The prophet Isaiah was from the kingdom of Judah, and there he prophesied, in one of the most critical periods in the history of his country. God’s message to the nation that had abandoned faith in Him is wrapped in the reaffirmation of His love for them. He intentionally created every particle of the human body and fashioned them as a potter himself does with clay. This is how He knows our strengths and weaknesses. That is why he is always helping us so that we can control our strength and, at the same time, overcome our weaknesses. When human beings do not take this into account, they question God, their environment and themselves. A person who understands from a young age that he is special to God will always have in his heart the full effect of God’s love for him.
Suggestions:
- — It is good for the child to be able to hear (mentioning his name) that God made him very “cute”.
- — Show your hands, ears, eyes, mouth, feet, or touch the child’s hands saying that God made every detail for him. Don’t forget to mention the name of each body part you point to.
- — Place flashy objects that don’t have a lot of detail in front of the child, tell him with joy how God made hands to play.
- — Exercise your arms and feet through games such as cycling (small simultaneous or alternating rotation), doing the movements yourself to help you strengthen your motor muscles, and remember to mention how special God has made you with your legs.
