Golden text: 1Jhon 2:4-6.
— When he does something wrong, tell him: “Let’s do it right again, because Jesus forgives us.”.
Understanding the text: Jesus is worthy of imitation. No one has ever behaved like Him in such holy harmony with God that He could even pay mankind’s sin debt on the cross. Now those who believe in Him can be saved; by imitating Him they will be able to live as God pleases. How can we do things in the church for God? If every Christian were to ask himself daily about the action of Jesus, he could easily understand what the daily and religious action should be.
Suggestions:
- — Remember to mention the child’s name in connection with all that God is going to teach him.
- — Mention Jesus’ name and say how obedient he was to his Father.
- — When you’re going to teach him something right, always say, “Let’s do this as Jesus did.”.
