Portions Peculiarities (ICD).

1.- Here, you will not find lessons like those in ACD, but general principles related to the four main stages of life: early childhood, childhood, youth, and adulthood.

2.- Nor will you find a specific syllabus for each age, except for early childhood and adulthood. This sole division is due to the unavoidable difference between both groups.

3.- In the case of the intermediate ages of childhood, the teachers, who are adults, will use the portions as a class syllabus bank. The purpose of this book is for the teacher, with a solid knowledge base and everything learned in ACD, to create and expand the class that their disciples of different ages need.

4.- The teacher using the portions must adapt the portion that they have previously made their own for their disciples.

5.- This age division does not necessarily relate to departments or specific activities for fraternal groups like youth, young adults, adults, widows, etc., although they can be equally adapted for them. For in the portions, they will find a topic for each meeting.

6.- With the DIC-DAC system, we suggest times for students when all age groups are sharing together in the same classroom, through alternate activities (which could be once a month or during specialized conferences) over the three-year cycle.

7.- Since the themes of each section are the same for all stages from childhood to adulthood, the educational leadership of the congregation should ensure that the schedule of each group progresses coordinated with the others. This would facilitate the implementation of the previous point.

8.- In each section for adults, you will find questions to facilitate discussion. However, in case there are individuals in the congregation who do not have the book, arrangements should made to provide it to them in advance of using the section.

9.- Each section also includes texts to read during individual devotional and study times. One of these texts will used by the preacher of the week in their sermon, allowing the audience the opportunity to delve into it before the preaching service.

10. It is suggested to the preachers to use one of the verses given for daily reading in each portion in their weekly sermon. This will contribute to the educational hygiene of the congregation and make it easier for them to convey the message that God has placed in their hearts.

With this brief explanation, each teacher can go directly to the advice for the life stage in which they will be teaching, while also delving into the different portions.
