Shema:

Shema Israel, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Echad.

Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Veahavta Et Adonai Eloheicha Bekhol Levavecha, Uvekol Nafshecka, Uvekol Meodecha.

Veahavta Lereacha Kamocha.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Meditation for Repentance and Forgiveness:

Reflect on everything that happened during the day, and if there is a need for repentance or to adopt an attitude of forgiveness, this is a good time to do so.

Mazikim:

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. (Sal 121).

“Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house of the LORD! Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD! May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth!  (Psalm 134).

Hamapil:

Hamapil javelei sheina al einai, v’teibel tanmimim al afapai.

Yihye ratzon milfanecha Adonai Elohai v’Elohei avotai, shetkadem alai v’al kol ami beit Israel lishmi’atam kol sh’not Torah ul’masmeichan al mishma’atam la’avodatecha. B’yira, v’lira g’shamim v’ra. Ul’havir aleihem ruchot raot. Uv’ri’kat shem Adonai Eloheinu, k’ftichat einai, uv’istaklot einai kommiyot b’chiso al kis’ó.

Ken ptach einai u’k’istaklot einai kommiyot aleihem b’rachamim. Yihyu l’ratzon imrei fi v’higyonai libi lefanecha, Adonai tzuri v’goali.

The One who places bands over my eyes and covers my eyelids.

May it be Your will, Lord my God and God of my fathers, to be with me and with all the people of Israel so that we may hear the ancient sound of the Torah and uphold its meaning with reverence in service to You. Also, grant us rain and dew, and divert harmful winds that come. May the blessing of the name of Adonai our God be like the opening of my eyes and raising them toward Your throne, under Your mercy. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

HERE!

This Sidur is an attempt to bring us closer to the liturgical order that the followers of Yeshua (Jesus) should have had in the 1st century, without losing the freedom to add elements that help organize our worship. We do not believe it is comparable in any way to the Scripture (from the Torah to Revelation), nor should it be assumed as something beyond correction. It is merely an attempt to live as they lived.
